Gospel Tidbits

Here's what's going on in the world of Gospel, courtesy of Gospelflava.com...

Karen Clark-Sheard has added entrepreneur to her resume. The youngest member of the legendary Clark Sisters has started her own record label. Her next album, which is due in stores this summer, will be on Karew Records...

After spending years with folks like John P. Kee & New Life, Kirk Franklin, and his own group, Men of Standard, Isaac Carree is finally in the studio working on his solo stuff. Production on his as-yet-untitled effort will be handled by Rodney Jerkins, PJ Morton, Warryn Campbell, and Eric Dawkins. No word yet on a release date...

The Anointed Pace Sisters will be recording their latest album this weekend. The ladies -- Dejuaii, Duranice, June, Latrice, Leslie, Lydia, Melonda, and Phyllis -- will be at doing their thing at Covenant Ministries International in Decatur, Georgia on Saturday. The live CD/DVD, Access Granted, will feature the stellar production work of Asaph Alex Ward. Look for it to hit stores Winter 2010...

After a 15-year hiatus, there's finally new music from BeBe & CeCe Winans. Their new single, Close to You, is being released to radio this week. The reunion album -- which will be on B and C Records -- hits stores later this year...
