Usher Says "I Don't" to Tameka

Here's one we never saw coming -- wink, wink. After months of being photographed without his ring, In Touch Weekly is reporting that Usher has filed for divorce from his wife, Tameka Foster. The 30-year-old singer filed the paperwork in Atlanta yesterday morning. Apparently he's been out of the house for almost a year after nearly two years of marriage.

At this point, Usher wants to handle his divorce delicately because of their two sons, 18-month-old Usher Raymond V and six-month-old Naviyd.

This is probably one time Usher wishes he'd listened to his mother. Apparently Jonnetta Patton never approved of his relationship with the 37-year-old mother of three teens. It was so bad that his momager skipped their multiple wedding ceremonies back in 2007.

Since Tameka has never been cast in a good light by the media, the former stylist has taken to Twitter to change that. According to AOL's Black Voices, she's been on the social networking site misquoting Bible verses and posting inspirational quotes lifted from various spiritual gurus. In addition, she's supposedly hired the same public relations firm Kim Porter used after her split with Sean "Diddy" Combs.

Naturally, Usher's rep was mum on the subject. Stay tuned...

Where in the World is Tameka Foster Raymond?

Okay...we know Tameka Foster Raymond isn't exactly lost, but it has been a minute since we've actually seen her. Her husband, Usher, has been spotted all over the place, but we haven't seen her with him since her plastic surgery health scare in Brazil in February.

Over the past few months, the singer has been spotted at the Kids' Choice Awards and at several meetings in Washington, DC. As if that weren't enough, he and his oldest son, Usher V were gallivanting in Miami on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Tameka hasn't been seen since late March. The missus was flying solo at a party in Atlanta, but insisted that her marriage was fine. In addition, she said she still plans to get a tummy tuck.

It was that kind of vanity that got her into trouble in February. Usher was supposed to perform at a pre-Grammy event, but had to cancel to go to Brazil to be with his wife when she suffered a heart attack from her liposuction. At the time, Tameka and Usher's youngest son, Naveid Ely, was about two months old. Most surgeons suggest that a woman wait more than six months after childbirth before going under the knife.

Sources say that Usher didn't know that Tameka was planning a surgery. When he went to Brazil to see about her, he was photographed several times outside the San Paolo hospital where she was staying. He eventually flew home alone the morning after her release while she took a separate flight.

Usher Recants Chrihanna Comments

Usher has issued an apology after making comments about the Chrihanna situation on Monday. Mr. Here I Stand was at recording of Jermaine Dupri 's Living the Life YouTube series when he was shown a picture of Brown jet skiing during his reunion weekend with Rihanna. He expressed disappointment and said that Chris should show a little more remorse after being arrested for beating Rihanna.

Naturally, once the comments actually came out, Usher issued a statement Tuesday that said, "The comments made during a recent recording session amongst friends were taken out of context and blown out of proportion."

Usher's Wife Released From Hospital Following Lipo Scare

Tameka Foster Raymond -- who suffered complications during liposuction surgery -- has finally been released from a Brazilian hospital. Usher's 37-year-old wife got out of San Paulo's Hospital Sirio Libanes Monday night after spending 11 days recovering from a heart attack.

Tameka apparently decided to have the procedure two months after the birth of her and Usher's second son, Naviyd Ely. Unfortunately, the president of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery told the New York Daily News that patients should wait six to eight months after giving birth.

At this point, Mrs. Raymond is currently taking antibiotics to fight a lung infection. No word on where she'll actually recover because Usher was seen boarding a plane to the United States without her on Tuesday. He's also been mum on her condition. Stay tuned...

Usher's Wife Suffers Complications from Lipo

Note to self: If your doctor tells you that plastic surgery isn't for you, LISTEN! While we're not sure if Tameka Foster actually consulted a physician, we DO know that her liposuction procedure didn't go as planned. According to the Brazilian news Web site G1, Usher's wife suffered a medical emergency and had to be rushed to the Sirio-Libanes Hospital's intensive care unit last Friday. The 37-year-old apparently went into cardiac and respiratory arrest while she was being anesthetized for her surgery. Doctors put her into a medically-induced coma for 24 hours and is currently recovery.

At this point, Dr. Gabriel Hunt, a neuro-surgeon from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, is handling Foster's case. He left the San Paulo hospital late Monday without making a statement. A spokesperson for Sirio-Libanes Hospital told AFP that the family has requested total privacy and that they are barred from giving out any information.

Meanwhile, Usher's spokesperson Simone Smalls told OK! magazine that Tameka was in stable condition after suffering complications from what she called routine surgery. The 30-year-old singer is with his wife at the hospital, and has cancelled all his concerts in the United States. Smalls reiterated that the family wants privacy during this difficult time.
