Jill's New No. 1 Man

It's a boy for singer Jill Scott. According to TheYBF.com, The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency star's new little mister made his grand entrance on Monday in a Los Angeles area hospital after two days of labor. Jett Hamilton Roberts weighed in at seven pounds, eight inches and is 20 inches long. Jill and her fiance, Lil John Roberts, are so proud. Congratulations!

Thanks to the success of Madea Goes to Jail -- which made 16.2 million bucks last weekend -- Lionsgate and Tyler Perry are working together again on two more films. Perry will write, direct, and star in both Tyler Perry's I Can Do Bad All By Myself and Why Did I Get Married, Too.

Madea -- Tyler's signature character -- will make an appearance in Bad, which also stars Oscar nominee Taraji P. Henson. Principal photography on the film, which is based on the stage play of the same name, will start in Atlanta on March 16th. Look for it to hit theaters on September 11th.

Meanwhile, Why Did I Get Married, Too is the sequel to the 2007 film that starred Janet Jackson and Jill Scott. Filming will begin later this year, and it'll hit theaters on April 2nd, 2010, Easter weekend. Casting for this film has yet to be announced.
