Washington's Homeless -- Not Jobless

Looks like Isaiah Washington is on the curb once again. The actor, who we told you last week was in danger of eviction, and his wife Jenisa, have reportedly said goodbye to the 3.5 million-dollar home they were renting in Venice, California. They were seen leaving the place on Monday afternoon while two housekeepers were spotted packing boxes and taking photos off the walls.

Fortunately, not everything is going wrong for the former Grey's Anatomy star. It was announced earlier this week that he'd play the late Lou Rawls in a biopic written by Lou Rawls Jr. Through the Eyes of a Son is described as an uncensored take on the singer who died in 2006. No word on when that film will see the light of day.

Meanwhile, Washington's next big screen adventure will be Hurricane Season, the story of a New Orleans basketball team after Hurricane Katrina.

Is Homelessness in Isaiah's Future?

If you thought celebrities were immune to the housing crisis, think again. TMZ.com is reporting that Isaiah Washington is five months behind on his rent for his house. His landlord said that if the former Grey's Anatomy star doesn't come up with the 100-thousand dollars he owes him, he and family will be on the curb.

Washington signed a lease/option agreement to purchase the Venice, California property for 3.65-million dollars. However, he was having some kind of dispute with his financial person. He told his landlord that once the issue was cleared up, he'd be able to pay his rent.

Unfortunately, the landlord has decided that he can't wait any longer for Isaiah to pay up and has started legal proceedings. Sources say that Washington and his family are going to move soon. Stay tuned...
